This deposit secures your order for one of our overwintered nucleus colonies. These 5-frame nucs have a marked 2025 queen and have successfully survived a full winter, proving their strength and hardiness, making these colonies a proven and reliable start for your apiary.
Overwintered nucs will be available a few weeks earlier than our standard spring nucs, giving you a head start on the season.
Choose the frame size you prefer (deep or medium) and the quantity of nucs desired. This will be important as you choose to use all medium-sized boxes or use deeps for your brood boxes. Please contact us if you have any questions about this.
Price: $235 per nuc ($35 deposit applied, $200 balance due at pickup).
